before i use NSS for bb5 simlock restore, some questions....

hi,

before i pay the 20euros for simlock restore, i need to know some questions!

In the 'manual' in says to rename the ask file bb5model.ASK ie, n80.ask, but when i go to site to pay for it, it asks me to upload the ask file named imei_of_phone.ask. So, when i make my ask file, what should i call it? N73.ask or N73'simei.ask?

How long will the procedure take from paying for rpl, to it being calculated and sent back?

It also says that i need the original sim in phone before i make a read, is that true, as i dont the ORIGINAL sim, but have same network available to me, and i have already read the phone but without sim in, do i need to insert sim and re-read the handset?

Looking forward to unlocking this phone after simlock reset,

Best regards

Jay

You must give name ask file this : IMEI.ask nothing more.
You will got rpl after 24-48h after payment. You not need sim in phone if you can read phone whitoout simcard this is only for user that can't connect phone to NSS with usb cable.

If you have next question give now. bye

piece of p1ss m8 and great fast service, used it many times.

briefly, start software, turn phone on, search for phone, read security and it will tell you how many try' have been used, put phone in local mode, read cert, save as something like n80.ask, that bit done. rename file to the imei of phone eg, 354678765676543.ask then upload on website and pay.

rpl comes back within 24 hours, now do the same but instead of chosing read choose write and upload the 354678765676543.rpl file then check sim lock counter has gone back to 0 from 3.
