prodigy update to v700 build 10 "error 3" - GSM-Forum

first of all thatnks to the Prodigy team, it is great to have such updates, but there seem to be a problem, after using the version 1.0.615 tried to update device to build 00.00.01.10 and there was an error "error 3" i guess and after that the device no longer working, tried to repir with the new "RepairUtility" and it is also not working, it says that you need to install 1.0.533 while it was alredy installed, so....any new ideas? i will retry to reinstall 615 and start all over again.

if your having trouble updating

when you click to do a online live update disable your internet firewall and all will be ok

you`ll find the firewall is the problem as i tried and tried for about 15-20 times then disabled my firewall and updated first time

ok this is what you do :-

make sure you have good power to your prodigy device, maybe best to use with nokia ACP 12 x charger
DISABLE any firewall
uninstall your current prodigy version
install the new 700 version
install the new repair utilty
run the repair utility a few times, maybe 5 or so times
you should see "Done" after this
now run version 700 of prodigy and then goto device manager
click activate device (make sure you are connected to the internet)
