I have got a similar problem with a 6310. Prodigy 1.550 reports "Unable to set the phone in DCT4 flash mode - UPP data error !". Phone is working but with UEM Tools I also get the error "Bootstrap Error No. 8" after reading the phone data. UPP ID and Flash ID are missing (not displayed).

Has anybody got an idea what's wrong or what I could do to restore UPP ID and Flash ID?

Thanks.

Thanks for the hint. A cable was broken in the connector. Now it works perfectly.
