BT USB Widcomm Adapter

Anyone who is able to use a Bluetooth USB Adapter, wants to use Widcomm drivers, and is having trouble with their existing Chinese ISSC based BT adapters ( and the like) would be well advised to buy a new adapter based on Widcomm drivers ( like the Belkin F8T013 which I am now using ) These are so cheap now, it's not worth the hastle trying to get the others to work correctly.
I must have bought about four ISSC based adapters with Blue Soleil software, and after weeks of messing about with original software, widcomm software plus patches and hacks etc. Yes I got them to work, but never without complications like crashes and hibernation problems.

My particular application is a demanding one because I use my BT Adapter in a PC Automotive environment where, by the nature of the beast, I am in and out of hibernation a LOT. This is the main area where the others failed.

I have even been able to update my Belkin on line to the latest 5 Series Widcomm software at this link:-

And I now have a very stable bluetooth operation.

Please note, this advice is only intended for those who have the luxury of being able to use a BT USB Adapter, and NO I do not work for Belkin or have any association with them. Just passing on my experiences.
