5.1.0.1100 and Vista

Have ISSC BT dongle with Vista Ultimate 32 and 64 bit. Have Palm Tungsten T3 PDA with Bluetooth..

Here's my problem:
32bit, only have HotSync. It connects with Network Access however won' t connect to internet. On Avantgo I get

Error: 5470 Cannot find server or there was a DNS error.

On WebPro, I get the infamous DNS lookup timed out. Please check coverage and try again [comm.8].

Worked fine until a few days ago. Unistalled and reinstalled the PALM OS with HotSync. Tried different versions of Widcomm. Checked my 2Wire router config. Checked the ICS on my LAN connection.

I did notice that the comm ports installed are 4 and 10. not 4 and 5 as most people report. I did try changing the port in the Hot Sync from 4 to 10 but that only made my Hot Sync not work.

I went to x64 and loaded PALM OS with HotSync and Widcomm 5.0.1.2500. Set everything up the same and it works just fine except there are no drivers to HotSync the Palm to x64 on the USB port. no biggy since my Bluetooth works fine here.

The comm ports installed here are the 4 and 5 most people report.

Any suggestions out there??

Would rather run the 32 bit since I have lesser problems with other software than on the 64 bit version. That's the reason for the question.
