Member: 86808 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | [BT problems] other WIDCOMM patch? I have a mycom Broadcom USB dongle, which works fine with the orginal drivers. But I need hacked drivers to enable all functions. So I downloaded drivers 1.4.3.4 + patch (http://www.jonpscaife.btinternet.co.uk/btpatch.exe) and used the tutorial on http://www.k-700.com/tutorials/t1.php. I also added some extra info the btwusb.inf like: ExcludeFromSelect = USB\VID_0A5C&PID_2009 and %BROADCOM.DeviceDesc%=BRSMARTUSB, USB\VID_0A5C&PID_2009 ; Broadcom VID&PID Smart dongle and so on... Otherwise the driver didn't regonized my device. After the installation the blue tooth symbool turns white, but when click it to open my blue tooth devices it says: " No local blue tooth device detected". Could someone help me out...? a hack for the newer drivers (Broadcom/Widcomm 301.906 or 301.905) would help al lot. Thx in advance, Reflex |

Member: 40901 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 2 | Ok, heres the patched files. I havent tested them at all, but I dont forsee any problems as it appears that very little has changed since 905 (and you would hardly expect anything significant to have changed after just 1 build). Anyways after zipping the files I found that I had to use rar and no bigger than about 700k if i wanted to post it as an attachment here, so I multi-part rar'd the zip file. If anyone feels like hosting this on a web site or p2p network please extract the zip and host that and not these 2 rars. Thanks Phantasm |

Member: 86808 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | ok, thanks, i will test them tonight, because I'm not behind my desktop PC at the moment. Does this driver also enables all the functions? Like "remote control" which was previously locked in my orginal driver? Thanks again |

Member: 86808 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | My device works with the patched files, but the mouse and keyboard services which my phone offers is still not support by my Broadcomm dongle. Listed Local services: Blue tooth imaging, Audio Gateway etc... but no Human Device Interface. An idea...? |

Member: 40406 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Hi people, having problem making widcom 3.0.1.906 (and 905) drivers recognize my Toshiba Satellite Pro M10 internal BT Toshiba-2 USB\VID_0930&PID_0505 (btwusb.inf updated with that info). This is realy starting getting on my nerves now. According to the device list at jonsguide, this combination should be supported. Any help? I've removed the XP SP2 drivers from the PC, but still no luck with the widcomm. hellsat |
