First great post and very detailed, Quick question i want to know if my PCMCIA\3Com-3CRWB6096B will work with tthis version and if so how can i get this to work, because i tried and it did not.

I had an error when I tried to shutdown my Windows (Xp Pro). It says that btstackserver.exe could not be finished and I have to click "End now" to close my system. I have tried patching this file again but it didn't work, also failed uninstall and reinstall. Does anyone know about this?.

What is this Patch necessary for ?

Not a noob, but I dont know what is this patch for, does it adds any functionality to the widcomm software or is it the patch necessary for compatibility or for adding menus and options to the software, etc.

a quick answer would clear my thoughts.

icacls %windir%\system32\BTNeighborhood.dll /grant %UserName%:F
