No BT on Cold Boot - GSM-Forum

Great forum, wish i'd found it earlier. While I've solved installation/operation/dig sig probs, I still got one left and would appreciate any advice.

I'm using CSR no-name dongle (USB\VID_0A12&PID_0001\5&3116AD64&0&1 f/w 525) and running Widcomm 1.4.1.3 drivers on XPSP2. Everything works until I cold boot (warm boot is ok), then I get the dreaded red B. The only way I can get the white one back is to unlpug and replug the dongle. Doing this finds the Widcomm drivers and doesn't reload the Win BT stack as I've disabled the bth.inf file. Unfortunately, replugging the dongle involves getting down on hands and knees, crawiling under desk to reach rear of pooter every time I turn the thing on. Being a lazy bstd, I don't much like doing this too often, specially not first thing in the morning! Any ideas? I've done the license.dat thing but also no joy. Tx in advance.
