| Is it possible to disable the auto connect feature for WIDCOMM? I'll be upgrading several of my relatives propriety 900 MHz wireless headphone systems to bluetooth with a Motorola DC800 bluetooth stereo transmitter/receiver for the TV, an IOGEAR bluetooth adapter, and a Sony bluetooth headset. This will be used by them since they are all heading impaired. The two transmitters are in close proximity to each other (within 30 feet) so the WIDCOMM auto connect feature can interfere (steal the headset) when trying to reconnect to the TV on a power up of the headset. Also when trying to use the headset with the computer, the auto connect may get trumped if the previously paired connection is able to establish a connection to the headset before the auto connect has established the connection. I could tell them to disable the usb adapter when no longer using bluetooth on the computer and power down the Motorola DC800 when trying to use the computer to solve the problem bit they are completely technical illiterate so I suspect I would be getting calls daily. I suppose that I could also require them to purchase a second headset so that each headset is paired to different bluetooth transmitters to solve the problem but it should be possible to disable the auto connect feature of WIDCOMM allowing manual pairing for the computer. |

| Unfortunately Vista doesn't seem to have that option. The only options available are "Remove", "Properties", and "Control" and none of those options have that option either. |
