Member: 102577 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 4 | Widcomm 5.0.1.3200 Looks like IBM just released an update for ye olde bluetooth stack for all their laptops. It is Version 5.0.1.3200 wich means it should be OLDER then 5.1.1100 or 5.1.1700. It was released on 14 Sep 2006. It should be interesting if someone could install it and see if it works fine with CSR based devices... ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com/pc/pccbbs...s/7fba07ww.exe Changes since 5.0.1.2800 are as follows : Version 5.0.1.3200 (Fix) With ThinkPad R52/T43/T43p/X32/X40/X41/X41 tablet systems, Bluetooth stops responding after log-off and log-on. Version 5.0.1.2900 (Fix) Bluetooth Exchange Folder may not setup correctly when installed in a certain environment. (Fix) With ThinkPad with integrated Camera, the system sometimes fails to enter suspend mode. (New) Support for ThinkPad Z61p. I think the last version of the patcher should have no problem with it So, who wants to try it an post their results ? Also, what is the date of the device driver once installed? Adi |

As per the software it supports EDR but I do not have V2.0 Bluetooth dongle to verify this. I have used Version 2.0 patcher and it works well. I am using ISSC bluetooth and I believe it uses CSR chipset. Thanks for your new finding and hope this helps others. kr/- |

Member: 102577 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 4 | Good to hear but you might wannna try 5.1.0.1100 since it is a more advanced version of the Widcomm drivers. I posted this version just to see if Broadcom killed CSR compatibility in the previous 5.0.1 series as well wich seems that it's not the case Adi |
