Has to do with the SCMS-T restriction I guess. Never had A2DP working with any 5.x Widcomm release

2800 confirmed working with the logitec headset using A2DP profile. YOU MUST use the Wizard to find the headphones .. I could not get it working properly just buy pairing and connecting in the bluetooth neighbourhood.

Ok, will try that. See if it works.

Edit:
Nope, won't do the trick. No A2DP working.

Question Bluetooth woes

Hi friends, this is my first post here, unfortunately it starts with a problem

i've downloaded & installed the 5.1.0.1100 version & followed instructions to the best of my abilities but apparently my abilities seem to be limited

i'm using a Broadcom dongle, XP SP2, the problem faced is - once the software is installed & driver updated to CSR, the device manager shows 2 things -
Bluetooth Bus Enumerator
CSR USB Bluetooth Device
I presume this is correct; but when i click open 'Bluetooth Devices' in Control Panel, the hardware tab shows nothing, b4 updating to CSR the Microsoft Bluetooth thing was visible here!!!
Can anybody guide me as to where am i going wrong? this has been driving me nuts for so many days

How does the bluetooth icon in your tray looks like? Is the bluetooth symbol blue and white? or is it blue and red?

Hit -> http://ambicom.com/support/installation/bt/index.htm

Download the driver for their BT2-USB dongle... they are 32bit... DriverVer=04/12/2006,5.1.0.1100

And use the LicensePatcher ZIP attached in the first post...
