3650 not formating user area - GSM-Forum

Hi
i just flash the 3650 and know i can't format the user area when matrix trys to enter the local mode it can't enter ??? and the phone trys to load and it can't it only comes up nokia logo that is all help on this one please

Reflash with lower vers.MCU and try again.

thanks you very muck it works. can i upgraded to 4.13 know in sted of 3.16? because of the failrier?

I have try upgraded to 4.13 too,but whithout success.Maybe the cable is problem and must modified with resistor like by Griffin,but I'm not shure.

It worked for me.
I also updated a 3650 to 4.13 but after flashing it couldn't get into local mode. It kept booting and showed the Nokia Logo 4 times.

After doing this solution it came into Local Mode and I could perform User Area Format and Factory Resets and the phone was 100% working again.

mastah I try 4 to 5 or 6 times with no success but the phone it isn't my its my client so better to live it like it is working before I flash mobiles like this but I finding out that there are always one or two that does give you trouble so is better that stay's put but thanks any way also to you rambo amadeus

mastah if i show you my counter you dont belive it if i tell you that in 2moth i did 16994 upgrade you dont belive me sorry is 16924 not 94

If your cable is good for flashing downgrade ,it is also good for upgrade firmware to 4.13 !

You don't have to modify cables for the new version !

I know! My counter is also around 267 times in 2 months.

Very strange but it doesn't bother me.

after upgrade from lower version to v4.13 you need to perfom full factory settings.

Thanks for the info but i give it away i can't flash it to 4.13 because the mobile it didn't give me contac retailor so i live 3.16 also when i flash it to 4.13 when i swich it on it give me the nokia logo and stop there so i preferd to leave it to 3.16
