5100 Flash Problems - GSM-Forum

HI all - pls help!

I have tried to flash my 5100. It goes through whole procedure and after loading content package - just as the phone goes into loacal mode - it gets stuck there and does not go further.

Now phone dont work anymore.

Also when you force on - no work, or when you try to read info - no work. Please help - Now I am foneless!

1. Try to flash few time again first , allmost allways help .
2. Check your PC settings and external Matrix power suplly (700mA)
3. Read all message on this section , 100 % would help .

Hi,

1)Flashed 15 x so far - No Luck
2)Tried on 3 different pc's
3)Read this whole forum - Cant find anyting!

I now that matrix give some problem with dct3 phone and digitec issued a mod to matrix I have done it and it works for me but also I have never try to flash mobile before that time try it may that you have ?

if this is the mod where you connect wire from one hole to the one lifted leg of ic - i have done it - still no work

Hi again then try this just click on skip blue tooth when i tried the first time to flash my 7650 it was giving me an error 95 then hang up when flash and i have to close the program and all this sort off thinks try that if you want in the forum there are a topic about me for gething help to flash the 7650 try to look there ok may know you get some were ??

Was your phone good before? I just tried to FLASH my 5100 and no problem at all regardless on loaders or other things - so the q. is was the phone in good conditions before you have flashed it - NEW ONE? or some used one? There was never reported any problem with this phone before. If I understood well, phone stopped communicating after data pack uploading - Let me know where you get your flash files too. The problem could be flashing cable itself.

Be sure you have disconnected PIN 28 of Matrix PROCESSOR from the socket.
