5100 Problem - GSM-Forum

Hi

I have a Problem.

I have wanted to Flash a 5100!

The Flashing has started, and MCU was erased... then Flash Uploading (MCU) hast beginn... and all was Ok!

But after that PPM should be erased the Flashed. But i get then "Loading Boot" --> TIME OUT!

And Phone is Dead! Now when i want Power ON Phone, it goes for 2 Secunds ON, then automaticly OFF!

I when i try to repeat the complete Procedure, i get always the Error"

Loading Boot... Time OUT!

What should i do now?

P.S. Now i have try to Flash a New 3510i, and same Problem, can not Boot the Phone!

Tryed on 2 diffrent PC's!

Can anyone Help me?

I have solved my 5100 now it works!

I have try it minimum 70 Times... and one Time, it hast start to Flash PPM and successfull Done.!

Now i don't know why it have not works!

Now if i want to Flash a New Phone, same Problem!

Every Time:

Loading Boot
TIME Out!

When i try it 30-40 times, then 1 time it starts, and works.. and then i must try 30-40 times too, that it will 1 times works!

Can anyone help me?

Did it work correct before you upgraded your flashpack?

This problem can be caused by wrong LPT setings, bad, or unproperly connected cable.
To check this, click on "cponfig" button, and see if there is all ok.
If you are using user port software, it can **** up LPT setings, sometimes.
