you can make .ask file with Phoenix, Matrix or Trisha and check inside .ask what is ASIC type.
anyway, matrix/trsiha also displays ASIC type if you read info.

Ok. If 6220 is asic2, then griffin is wrong, because if you want relock the 6220, it write: asic 9, and of course, not work.

Why so hard, then implement to softwares (griffin, prodigy...) the 3200, 6220 direct unlocking?

7650, 3650, 6600, N-Gage ---> are Type 5 - WD2
6650 --> Type 7- TIKU
3300, 6220, 8310, 7210, 3510, 6800 Ext ---> Asic 2 - DCT4

if u don't Know Phone Type
Simply Read the the ask File then Open it with Notebad,
if u read some thing like:

DATA=0005xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx This mean that this is for Type 5
DATA=0002xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ; this means type 2
