if your have problems with flashing....

then your box might need to be modified.

we found out that there are a few boxes out there that are not working properly because of a small mistake on the PCB.

if you´re getting error message 0203 or timeout and you cannot flash then you have probably one of those boxes.

in order to fix this, just open the housing of the box and disconnect(or cut) PIN28 from the Processor.

regards,

0203 error

0203 error means usually Normal mode during unlocking the Phone, Test mode needs to be set before unlocking procedure otherwise 0203 error.

I also got a box that gives error 0203.
It occurs with a 8310. I think that the problem here is a malfunction in the 8310 cable.
The problem occurs when trying to flash the phone.
Read info from phone and unlocking from phone works 100%.
Customer is coming over tomorrow for a test with his box, cable and some 8310's phones and we'll test it together.
But I think it's a cable malfunction, because the pin28 is already removed and stuff.

Problem of error 0203 solved.

It was a malfunctioning 8310 cable. I exchanged it with spare cable and again a customer very happy!
