Matrix 5.00 Beta not working - GSM-Forum

I have downloaded new version of Matrixflasher SW and its not working. I have copied all files including matrix.ini and new *.dll files (also backuping old files) to c:\program files\nokia\phoenix. When i try to run DCT4p.exe it looks like working about 10sec, then no file opens. DCT4p.exe only idle like a process. DCT4p.exe not working with new *.dll files also old *.dll files.MatrixRevolution SW 04.01.26 works good. I`m running Win2k please help me.

Win 98 working good. Is possible to make DCT4p.exe working on win2k?

yes i have the same experience .. its not running on win2k but on win98 it works without any problem

Hi! Have same problem on XP. Changed DLL from old to new, I doubleclick icon, looks like it is starting, and nothing appears. In System Tray I can close DCT4p.exe

I just only copied the exe file into the phoenix folder.

I don't have any problems occuring.
I'm work with 98se.

it will not run on WIN98

U have to use win2k for running this beta version

Hi! Sorry, I´m from Germany ;-)
I copied now beta3 exe to matrix folder, program starts with new winio.sys and winio.dll and with old files, too, box is detected with both, but can´t read phone info! With Power on button, phone gets in local mode, but nothing else :-(

@opelastra16i: nice name though.

If I'm not mistaking I only copied the exe file. So no other files into the existing foler.

More people who bought a Matrix from me encounter these kind of problems, but I don't know what they done...

It`s only beta yet. I think that functional is only flashing with mcu/ppm select or variant select. cp flashing not yet also other functins. I cannot read info too

read info function is not working .. even there is no unlock function

hence its a beta version guyz so relax and hang on for v5 pro version

There should be available beta4 soon

It will have some things in serial communication changed and phone info and other things should be available on each PC. Please report if it helped. If not, other solution will be proposed...
