1st Boot Err: Bad Resp UPP, 03 00 00 72 (NOKIA 6230.) - GSM-Forum

I am trying to flash a nokia 6230 but when i press check i get this message.

1st Boot Err: Bad Resp UPP, 03 00 00 72
1st Boot Err: Bad Resp DCT3, 00 93 5
Rebooting Mobile

i dont think its the cable cause i used the cable to try and flash a 6230i but it failed on extracting cnt.

any help would be great.

try to clean ur bus connector and ur cable by alkohol my be also a hardware problem.

check your cable or change your cable data..
another way is when you wanna flash your 6230 press down your data cable with flash your 6230..
1st Boot Err: Bad Resp UPP, 03 00 00 72 mean is you have a problem with your data cable.

check version FW ...E , or M, when flashing ..try
rm72_73_11003.880
rm72_73_110M_03.88c
rm72_73_110M_03.88.ucp_c

or just change for E fw PPM and CNT

that so many possible, upp, uem, vcore, rf parts, the one of them is demage because it is no communication at all, see the scematic for the reference
