Make sure you have backup your 9110. Make sure you made sure you have backup your 9110. You'll need these two zip files 704mmc.zip = PDA update files cmt_601.zip= phone flash files You may also want to download winimage, This will enable you to extract files from uk704mmc.img (inside 704mmc.zip) How TO : ************************ ****Flash phone PART**** ************************ You'll Need : MBUS cable Flasher Cable 1)remove sicker under battery'Use Only Nokia specified Li-ion Battery' hold phone up right pin 1 is to the left. connect pin 15-16. Connect battery. On screen (top left in small text) should say 'relink mode enabled' can now flash as 9110. 2)use wt2dejan or any flasher capable - convert rae2n06.010 = MCU rae2n06.01a = PPM - A - ENGLISH N.B. files are inside cmt_601.zip. 3)Using 'Nokia Flasher v1.00b' by Dejan Kaljevic write converted MCU @ 0x00200000 and then write converted PPM @ 0x002f0000 4)use eeprom tools - Bottom left button 'Update AuthorityID'. 5)Disconnect pin 15-16. 6)All should be done now done *********************** ****Update PDA Part**** *********************** You'll Need 4MB (or more) MMC and some knowledge of how to use DOS would help. If you don't have DOS Prompt Launcher by Dave Chapman Then you'll have to get it and install it to the communicator's memory 1)Inside 704mmc.zip you'll find uk704mmc.img This is a 4MB disk image. using winimage open uk704mmc.img and extract all the files. Copy the extracted files onto a MMC. (If not already put MMC into your 9110) The files are: autoexec.bat - 27 bytes command.com - 81,130 bytes dos.sys - 40,198 bytes spock.hdr - 20 bytes spock.lzs - 3,577,796 bytes swupdate.exe - 35,186 bytes 2)remove sicker under battery'Use Only Nokia specified Li-ion Battery' hold phone up right pin 1 is to the left. connect pin 1-4. 3)Run DOS Prompt and find the files you copied to your mmc run swupdate.exe YOU should see a a bar process bar along the top. This process should only take about 2mins. N.B MMC is Drive A If you used PC Suite to copy the files to your mmc theyll be under nokia\document\mmc 4)Once finished remove PIN 1 - 4. 5)You're done ************** ****Extras**** ************** Remove battery then press and hold 1)To format - shift + tab + f 2)Check drive for errors - shift + tab + left 3)Delete state files - shift + tab + right 4)Debugging!! - shift + d + b 5)Debugging!! - shift + d + o then connect battery. REGARDS - May help |
