Flash 6600 brand to No Brand - GSM-Forum

Hi,
I have a 6600 brand tim and usce ufs3 box, i have downloaded the ffirmware 5.53 v5.0 to v5.08 from UFS3 support, install it and take the just file mcu and the PPM 05, flag "Full Factory default" and Flash.

The flashing all ok, and the phone start up again, but the firmware is Tim still!!

How can make for to have the firmware no brand? Where i Mistake??

1st: branding on symbian phones depends from PPM.

2nd:some aplications(like TIM imagine) they are TSR.this means that they run automatically every time when you switch on the phone.
usually all this aplications is stored to mmc.so flash the phone,make format user area (green + * + 3 + power on) and try without mmc.

I agree with you, that the brand depends from PPM files, but then which to choose? For italian not brand is 04 or 05 PPM?

The files's brand are on the memory phone, and not on memory card, i can resolve with a format, but i would know for personal experience how flash a firmware no brand.

TSR if you know about instaled on mmc,so take it of.

The PPM 05 is what I have chosen for the flash! But to the end the firmware have pictures and formulations tim! The software recognizes that the cellular one is brand tim? and therefore it installs the options tim?
If therefore it were how I can choose to put not brand when I want? As an example now I have to flashing a 6630, and want to put the version not brand Italy, than ppm I choose?
