this schematic is LPT cable (parallel programmer) connected to ufsx boxes to repair atmega8 with bad or no firmware
- any body hwo has ufs2 dead he dont need to put resistor becouse the box already has resistor on it
- any body with ufs3 or boxes without resistor connected to the pins in the back of the ufs3 box resister is needed
- after connecting the pins with the cables run ponyprog and do
1 - go to setup and chose parallel and avr isp api then ok
2 - form setup menu press calibration to calibrate the programmer with ur pc
3 - select avr and atmega8 from the 2 comoboxes
4 press erase all the device
5 file->open program flash file
6- file->open data eeprom file
both r atached
7- press write device button
8 you have to set the security bits by pressing the security bit button
after programming completed remove the parallel programmer from the box
now your box is alive again
