Problem with UFS-3 Tornado - GSM-Forum

Hi there,

I'm having problems with the UFS-3 Tornado, running latest firmware. By now I know it's not related to Windows XP SP2. When I connect a Nokia 1100 to the UFS box, I can't read the phone, even though it is connected and the phone shows local mode. Anything I do, I get the

"Init Local Mode Failed"

error and nothing happens. I noticed that some phones require a valid SIM card before they can be booted ?

When I connect a Nokia 6620 or a Siemens M55 phone to the Tornado box and try to read from the phone, I get the following error:

"COMM_lsBootRunning: bootcode does not seem to be running
COMM_LoadBoots: Waiting to power on the phone
COMM_LoadBoots: phone is not powered on"

Any idea what's wrong ? Thanks for your help.

this error should only be for siemens
shouldn't have gotten this for your 6620
