i upgrad this box i use one bad softwer and i put in usb it saying found new USB <-> Dual serial help :confused:

all you need an Mprogram and good ept file and promer it

Problem solved. I had same problem.

Solution.

1. usb-serial driver installation
take this ftdi driver
http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/D2XX.htm

2. after installation ,box is usb - serial device

3. use mprog
http://www.ftdichip.com/Resources/Ut...g3.0_Setup.exe

4. start mprog, scan device , load good eep

5. programm device

6. box is sarasbox

7. use ufs3tools.exe flash firmware 2.6

8. reconnect flash firmware 2.5

9. start UFS_DCTxBB5 and update box

10. box is fine and ready

I have make my ufs that was in mode usb to duel drivers now its a very easy to me any body want solution contact me [email protected]

There is no any idea i have read all post every body send links but only drivers or mprog or any others but its after steps

i have downloaded the ftdi drivers from the ftdichip site.my box showed usb<.>dual serial device fonud.but still it is not picking up the ftdi drivers.what to do now?

use mprog and good eeprom, solution works 100%

To recover your ufs from Usb serial Port to ufs just follow this step
1]-replace this ATMEGA8-16PI
2)-use mprog and good eeprom
3)-Reconnect your box and install orig ufs driver

To use MPROG

1. I download it from ftdi site MPROG utility

2. I try to connect UFS again but UFS not recognize original drivers
- install drivers from \Program Files\MPROG\Drivers and connect UFS

3. Start MPROG and "Scan" system
- MPROG found one device ... I

(UFS comes with VID:0888 and PID:5508 .... SEE INI FILE INTO UFS DRIVERS DIRECTORY)

4. Into MPROG -> File/New
- Device Type -> FT232BM
- USB VID/PID -> Own VID & PID
- Vendor ID -> 0888
- Product ID -> 5508
- USB Version number -> USB 1.1
- Check "Use Fixed Serial Number"
- Enter into EDIT BOX your serial number located on UFS cover
- Manifacturer -> UFS2
- Product description -> UFS2 SarasSoft
- Uncheck "Only Program Blank Devices"
5. Into MPROG - File/Save ... to save template for future use and for unlock function "Device/Program"
6. Into Mprog - Device/Program ... to program eeprom
7. Close Mprog and disconnect UFS from cable
8. Connect UFS to cable and now UFS recognize OWN driver
