UFS3 Samsung and Siemens problems - GSM-Forum

Hi all,

My parents recently bought a Ufs3/tornado flasher for their shop (they buy/sell second hand goods) so that they could clear off phones/unlock them easily. They don't know a huge amount about computers etc so its down to me to figure it all out.

Its been fine for nokia's, flashed and unlocked plently of different models without a problem but samsung and siemen phones haven't been so easy.

The first major problem i've had is unlocking a Samsung A800, i've tried every method i can think of, battery on/off, sim card in/out, powered up to start with, power up mid way through etc. I'm pretty sure the cable is alright as it can connect to the phone and get the information off it, and i killed the phone by accident when playing around with a flash file, but flashed it again and the phone came back to life, but it still has the network lock on (orange). Using the same cable i unlocked a T100 also.

Is there a correct method to unlocking the a800? flash it and then enter a code? which flash file do i use and which code?

EDIT: - I've worked out the siemens, i didn't realise there was a sim card in it, unlocked fine now

The second problem is with unlocking a Siemens MC60 (first siemens i've tried), the software activated fine but it doesn't seem to be able to connect to the phone. In the status window alls i get is:

COMM_IsBootRunning : bootcode does not seem to be running
COMM_LoadBoots : Waiting to power on the phone ...
COMM_LoadBoots : phone is not powered on

Is there a correct method to unlocking siemens, there are some boot option check box's, i've tried them all but it doesn't seem to make a differences.

Any help is greatly appreciated, I've done a ton of reading on GSM-Forum and mobiledia.com but i'm pretty new to all this

Hi Hezza

Try this code on A800 *2767*637#

When unlocking A800 connect phone and click unlock before it shows charging on screen

The siemens problem is the newer phones have test points that either must be shorted out or cut before the phone will boot

Sorry forgot one thing

Siemens phone must be off then when unlocking flashing etc just press power button it will say"boot file not accepted" if you have not sorted out the test point issue

No luck with that method i'm afraid.

I tried the clicking unlock button before the phone goes to charger, the charger screen comes up and the software says its finished. Unplug the cable and power up the phone and it stills has the network lock screen. When i enter that code it says password too short.

Thanks for the quick reply DMD, any other suggestions as to how to unlock this?

I'll have another a800 to try tomorrow to make sure its not just this one phone.

i have siemens tool v1.0_f by nutzo. its for ufs i have try to flash and unlock simens phones but massage show boot code not seem to be runing, plz help for useing this
