Does anyone know the solution to remove a power-on password of a HP Omnibook notebook? The "normal" solutions doesn't work at all (like system battery and stuff). So solutions that works on Compaq, Toshiba and other models DON'T work. Please help me.

So, how the hell wil man insert a floppy and boot if he has a power on password????

Did you try with jumpers?!?! On older omnibook's there was a jumper no.22 that has to be reswitched and then you must start computer and then again shutdown, after this you must place the jumper back on his place and boot up machine... maybe this will help!?!?!

SORRY People, only way is HARDWARE SOLUTION by Flash Programmer

EEPROM is emulated in Flash INTEL 28f002BC-T
this is in Omnibook 800C.

You must desolder Flash , in parameter flash change all to FF , except serial Nr., solder back in Notebook & VOILA it's FREE.

Regards, DeXoN.
