Bosch 909 network code problem

I have had my 909 for 3 years and about 1 year ago I unlocked it and then changed phones (I now prefer predictive text). The phone has been unused for +/-1 year. When I put my original (T-Mobile) sim card in the phone works OK, but when I put a sim card in for another provider (Orange) it says "Please enter network code". I see I have 5 tries left and don't remember a number I may have used 3 years ago when I set up the phone.

Please can someone help.

Thank you for the reply. Which is the best software to use to find my code? and where will I find it? I have a new PC since I downloaded and unlocked my phone. I did not transfer the software and I don't remember where I found it.

Thank you for your messages. I used all my 5 tries and the phone was locked. I phoned T-Mobile and they gave me a short code to enter and then a longer one and it unlocked my phone for my sim card. It works with my original T-Mobile sim card. But if I put in another sim card (say for Orange) it still says "network lock permanently blocked".

I did not write down the codes they gave me (Stupid ) does anyone know them? If not I will buy a cable and try to unlock that way.

Thank you

I looked for a cable and the cheapest I found was Ģ10.50 plus postage. So before buying I contacted T-Mobile again and they charged me Ģ15 and will send me the unlock code. They say it wil take 14 to 28 days. I will let you know if it works. If not I will demand a refund and then buy a cable and use winbosch to do it myself.

Thanx for all your help
