I have the same problem.
Here in spain is from vodafone and is like a landline phone.
How is possible to unlock it???????

I have opened this telephone and he has a modem SIEMENS MC55. I think that this modem is locked.
I have found a store that releases this phone in Spain.
If you know something more tell by here.

jablocom gpd-4 unlock is ok

remove AT45DB011B phone is no have lock no have unlock
remove at45DB011B you see screen data reset if you can see data reseting phone is ok no have unlock

if remove at45xx dont do it update bucause phone is waiting download mode not finish only download mode and remove bataria or adaptor phone not working

but phone is only have fixl language

REMOVE ic AT45DB011B interface flash memory your phone is unlocked

USING THE ABOVE UNLOCK METHOD YOU WILL LOOSE IMPORTANT FUNCTIONS.
I followed the above method and removed the AT45DB011B and the phone is unlocked but IS NOT WORKING PROPERLY.
If you will remove the above component you:
1. will lose some languages
2. will be able to read only flash messages, all normal messages look like this "[...]"
3. will lose phone agenda search function
4. will not be able to save numbers in the phone memory properly
5. will not be able to access any contact from phone agenda and/or Sim. Import contacts function will not resolve this issue

And more that I don't remember now.

I will solder the component back.
