Maxon Imei how to change to original? - GSM-Forum

I have Maxon MX 6869 with Imei mixed up.I menaged to get 12 numbers right.
Can anybody knows how to get back Imei on Maxon?
I will ready to send bin from it to someone who knows how to get it back.

Hi there..

i dont know how to get the imei back in the phone, but i really like to know how to down load eprom into bin file ? do you desolder eprom, or do you use a programm & data cable to get the eprom contents??

You must have to open phone desolder EEprom(24LC32) and then read it with programmer.

Hi Timitiz!

You can raed the eeprom without desolder it,
i use for this the Easy2Bus interface from the page www.lancos.com , the ponny prog programmer and a SOIC clip for plug into the chip in board.

With Maxon,Nokia 5110,3210 you cannot read EEprom simply to put SOIC adapter on it.Usually they put resistor on Vcc and all power for 24C drained to other components.
I agree its easier to read EEproms by this way but not all phones allow this
