Skypephone S2 - Change default APN/Connection profile

Hi,

I've got a skypephone s2 from UK. Got it unlocked and I want to use it in Ireland.
Everything is grand, accept for the default network profile and APN.
Button with Planet 3 defined wants to connect to UK, so does My 3 link.
I've created my own profile with 3ireland APN and it works fine, however to use it I have to go to browser. But that's nothing.
The biggest issue I have is with skype.
This bastard has no settings at all. It will try to use the default connection profile. The only workaround I have is to go to browser, connect using my custom profile and then start skype, it works fine. However connection is lost from time to time and I have to go through the process again.
I wouldn't mind doing that for adhoc services, but skype is meant to run in background.

Is there any chance, I could change the settings of default connection profile/APN?

Skypephone S2 is not available in the Republic, so no way to upgrade firmware. I have to make this change somehow on my own.

Any hints will be greatly appreciated!
