No Network
Note : Satellite mobile phones should have a clear view of the sky. [If you are inside a building, tunnel, or other structure that limits your view of the sky, the satellite signal may be weak or unavailable].
  1. Make sure antenna is fully extended and you are pointing the antenna in a south facing direction with an on-obstructed view of the sky.
  2. Check to see if there is any signal strength - [ Relative Signal Strength Indictor Bars (RSSI) ] - showing in the upper right hand display. The higher the number of bars displayed on your mobile phone, the better the signal.
  3. If the answer is yes to step 2, perform the following check:
  4. Weak signal. Move higher, to a window or open space.
  5. If the answer is no to step 2, perform the following checks:
  6. Check to see if customer is outside GSM/SAT coverage area. Check service provider’s network coverage.
  7. Check to see if the SIM card is valid with the service provider.
  8. New network not authorized. Try selecting manually, or try other network.
  9. If none of steps above didn't clear the problem, Return unit for Tier 2 Level investigation. (Possible Tier 3 Level Support Hardware problem).
