I have the same problem with vodafone 125, only on\off is working.

try solder RX, TX and GND on Board TP, and test if ur phone can connect properly or not with any existing tool.

if no,
Just remove charge connector and replace it (if u don't have one, just remove Data pin from it)
(tested on many pcs).

if yes,
Just check varistor/capasitor at right of keypad, maybe they are shorted or water damaged, in that case just remove them.

i think just when phone start, the keypad work for 2 or 3 second? right?

In my case keypad is not working at all i only mangaed once to press number 3 and that was is.

this mobile when power the keypad works only for 3 seconds after that not working ,mobile doesnt get switch off if we remove the battery and rplace only its getting on

just clean pcb. mainly charger connecter area back n front side ur problem will be solve.i have solved many sets of vodafone 125 and 225 like this kind of problem....

hello brother - in my mobile 125keypad not work.only onoff work . i change the charging conector and right side capecitor of keys. i does ffs this mobile .i wash pcb but probleme is same. i am confused. please help me that what i do.

vodafone 225 set is ok with charger but only on/off key is not working.....
