You need to using 6230i RM-72 flash file for it. It is different phone with 6230 RH-12.

I will upload the flash file tomorrow.

It is new phone look like same as 6230 but with 1.3Mega pixel cam and bigger LCD.

And I think the navi-buttons are a bit different, no? There should be an OK type button in the middle.

Isn't the screen better too?

Haven't get this phone as well

Take a look at the attach picture. U are right the navi-button is a bit different, but for flash I think using same connector.

About 30 min later can download the flash file.

Hi

yeah 6230I is :

Better camera (1.3 Mpixel)
Better resolution on screen (208*208 vs 128*128)
Menu icons are 3D style (uuh cant live without that :-) )
More internal memory (32 MB vs 6 MB in 6230)

yeah and then they changed the keypad so that the middle of the navi button is raised a bit, but i suspect that 6230 owners can just buy a new keypad and get the same on their 6230 non I phone..

All in all not THAT much improvement

Yeah..

Wonder if it will be possible to put in a 6230i camera and flash it with 6230i software :-) Guess not, 6230i soft is written for new resolution screen and more 6230i have more memory

Dont you by the way agree that the menu button would be possible to get just by buying a 6230i keypad and putting it into the 6230 ?

I bet that the only thing they did with this phone hardware wise is to put in the better camera and another screen and then change the tape in the smt production machine to put in a bigger flash.. I dont even think they changed the pcb in any way..

yes i meant 6230i, just a typing mistake

I have no idea if the keypads are compatible, since i saw this phone only in pictures.

To see if there are some hardware changes, is best to compare the service manuals of both handsets.
