I have faced the same problem before, and I guess the only way is to borrow a Griffin box to flash it again.

Has this phone been full erased? Have you tried the repair BT option?

Yes I did a full erase.
BT repair gives BT Repair Failed: 0500
or 1100 with a different DCTx

I notice that twister flashes the MCU & BT fine, but as soon as it tries to Erase PPM I get failure and then have to do a PPM flash on its own which works.

I have 2 of these which are in the same state .. I have another 2 which I did a while ago and they are ok.

Have you written a valid PM back to the phone? If not this is maybe why the Repair BT is failing.

Odia.

Ok, I did a backup of the PM before full erasing.

I will try again .. do I need a special memory address to erase or just the standard address that comes up?

thanks.

Did it again with standard erase settings .repair BT gives : BT repair failed : 1100

Well, managed to buy Griffin box on Ebay cheap, flashed firmware to 8910i and now all is good again.

Strange old box like Griffin can mend twister fault.
