Clone HWK .. HID's

Does anyone know if the HID of HWK Clones are all the same or different for every one of them ?

Additional question : If they are all different would it be totally wrong to assume that the HID is somehow derived from the unique factory lasered ID inside the DS2432..

And lastly : Who has the 160 bit MAC that saras used to protect the data

Ok..

If most are with same HID numbers and we can easily change the serial on the ufs box would it be fair to assume that people with same HID and same box serial would also get the same request and activation files for HWKreplacer..

1. Who says that they actually use the unique number inside the DS to generate the HID...

2. How hard would it be for a programmer to reprogram the processor to not use the DS ID as the seed for the HID but rather just use a HID that is programmed into the HWK processor ...

it won't work

full emulator won't work not unless you have the algo for it's 160 bit encryption....

and 160 bit mac encryption is a strong encryption specially using counter mode with cbc-mac...

btw....

how did you know it's 160bit????

i've trying to look for its encryptiuon for a while....

thanks mate...

it helps me a lot...

@jhay-r

I dont know for sure that they use 160 bit but looking at the datasheet for the ds2432 i can see that it uses a 160 bit key.
