Direct unlocking E800 does not work? - GSM-Forum

I tried to unlock a Samsung E800, and it said everything was OK. But the phone was not unlocked anyway. I had to manually read the codes and enter them. It was pure luck that I actually tested the phone with a different SIM-card first!

Does this happen with all E800? I heard about same problem with an E330?

Put the codes manulaly into phone ..... On new E800 always the problem ...

Yes manually does work. But it could at least have been an error message that told the reset of locks was unsuccsessfull when you hit the unlock button! (it says everything is OK when you click the unlock button).
