How to change IMEI on SL55 with Freia anw Twister Box - GSM-Forum

Hi at all,

I know that is probabily a thread more present in this forum, but I very need of help to know correct procedure!

Infact I want change IMei of SL55 with Freia using twister boX! I do test point but now what I do?

Pls explain me step by step if possible! I'm not expert with Siemens phones!

First you must have patch flash for Sl55. After that you must patch it by that flash by V_Klay. After that just change imei by Twister of Freia

You need a com cable or an USB Cable with com emulation!

You can't do this direct by twister

but after insert patch of SL55 with V_Klay, there are same also operations to make? Or I can use then Freia By Twister?

After you patch your phone by V_klay, use normal Freia v15. Give Unlocking Functions -> Direct unlock also saves map -> write new imei (ex. 356785432189765) -> and click OK. That's all

Hi friend,
I've make all that you explain me! After patch Sl55 with V_Klay, I've used Freia v9 and I've select Direct Unlock no saved map, I wrote new Imei and I've click on Update flash IMEI ! Then "oK".
But at the End the Original IMEI is the same and is locked!!

WHY?

Maybe I must select "Direct UNlock also saved map" ???

P.S. Before this procedure I've try also to click instead "OK" button, on "Use Eepromm IMEI button and so Eepromm IMEI is changed! This is a problem? If yes, how I can repair this?

Of course can't you change the OTP IMEI!

You can with patch only change the shown IMEI and maybe the IMEI with will send to provider too. But not more!

I've make all procedure exactly??? But in what cases is possible to unlock Siemens phone with IMEI locked??

Just unlock normal like other and phone been unlocked. You want know how to change imei and we help you with it.

Sorry friend, but I don't understand fine! Are you sure that I can't unlock my SL55?

Pls explain me, how I can to know if possible to unlock or not, changing IMEI, Siemens phone!?!?

Your phone is already unlocked.

There is anywhere one Block in OTP area which shows the default sate of the phone lock (locked or unlocked)

If a phone was factory locked you can chnage this block but you are able to unlock your phone!

Just ignore it! Your phone is already complete unlocked!

But, when I try to insert a Sim Card, the phone search network with out result!

So, I think that is locked by IMEI! Or Blacklisted!

Pls explain me another solution, if exist!

Oh ***!!

in 100% is blacklisted if could search network!!! or hardware problem!!

If is on blacklisted you must change imei ! and when you click *#06# you must see new imei what you write in FREIA.

I think you know if you have ex. SL55 v20 you must downgrade to v16 (because this patch is only fo v16 version) and after that use patch with V_klay and then change imei as we said upper.
