!!For Twister User - Upgrade procedures!! - GSM-Forum

Dear Twister Users:

Please do the following Procedures in order to upgrade your Twister boxes:

1. Download the New Firmware\req.fbi from support area
2. Install latest Twister suite 1.13
3. Open the Twister_DCTx.exe
4. Press Update Firmware - select the file req.fbi

5. Wait until the process finish

6. Go to Directory: C:\Program Files\Nokia\Phoenix and find the file name xxxx.req
7. Send this xxxx.req to your reseller and you will get your xxxx.fbi file back to upgade new firmware again.
8. Now your box is ready to using with lastest version of Twister software.

thank u very much!!!!!! Why do u inform ppl before u do something like this!!!!!
I got 3 Nokias here.....my DCtx doesnt work now with new software!!!!........Update dont work .....reseller is not available at the moment ....i ve to give back this 3 nokias tomorrow!!! Bull****!!!!!
So , ve to give me a very quick SOLUTION !!!!!

Its very cool to see a new Soft........uand u instal it ....and **** happends to u!
Nothing is working! And u got fones from custs laying in front of u!!!!

1000000.... THX........i could shot myself!!...why i inst the new soft!

m8s .. i think you can use the old version of twister software till you get that xxxx.fbi file from your reseller. it still work with older version i think. after you get xxxx.fbi you can use the new version.

@gsmfun - Hi, I think that it is better to put
on twister support page the installer + req.fbi without
password protection so that the procedure for new
customers to be faster

hello i have Problem With the Update. i have this make .... i use 1.13 Version.

the Programm say this one in New Window ( error)

Unexpected Excepedition BOX_ERROR: 00000038
than i press ok and nothing... no file ob Phonix

and i use the 1.12 Version say me the Programm in Terminal this one:
WAIT, UPDATING FIRMWARE !
WAIT, UPDATING FIRMWARE !
WAIT, UPDATING FIRMWARE !
WAIT, UPDATING FIRMWARE !
WAIT, UPDATING FIRMWARE !
This is Not a Firmware Upgrade File

What happend ? please help me.

Hi,

i ve done the upgrade succesfull! Everythink works fine!

BUT: may be there is areason why u have selected this way........but when i send my reseller the xxxx.req-file he dont knew what to do with it! He dont knew anything about this procedure!! So thats why i was a little bit sad!!!!
i ve no Probs at the moment with new Software and hope u ve reached your target!
