New support area traffic limit, please vote here!

Hi,
since the problems with Torondo, some friends work to rebuild the twister support. Many clone box users has been allready cutted from Twister support area.

Another problem is that Twister users with original boxes do share their passwords, or some users simply download the whole FTP instead to download only that what they need. Result of this is that will will limit the traffic per month per Twister login.

Now you have the possibility to vote here how many

We will put a limit for each user per month. Please vote for the suggested bandwidth.

After bandwidth is reached, the account will not work any more until next month 1-st.

I have to mention that if one user needs more files one time becasue he lost them, we will be fair and offer of course the oportunity to get all the files he need by temporarry adjusting the dowload limit.

Also exist for the ones need twister support and have another box like ufs or tornado or clone boxes, they can get a montly 5gb account for 20 eur or a 6 month account for 40 eur or a 12 month account for 79 eur.

B.R.,
Raskal

p.s. the only exception, are customers bought their boxes from Gobi or Alinus, they can not get any account to Twister support FTP.

One Gigabyte per month, too.

@MisterX
it can be changed in future, but at first 1gb is enough.

and whats the problem you need to download it only one time and not every update has 100mb.

Further i don't know what you want the most of the user reach only 800-1000mb so everyone has more than enough

Until now, the twister area was unlimited, some users shared their accounts, all i can tell you, that 90% of the registered users download per month around 1,5 to 2 gb. The other 10% download EVERY month more than 10 gb.

Excuse me, but i don't think nokia do release 100 data packages a 100 mb each every month....

Just think before your write.

Since I have twister I use about 40MB/month and now recently when I need to download much files download area will be capped. This is my luck

I dont think much bandwidth is needed unless you are trying to make benchmark tests from server. Maybe 1GB month max, because even 1GB = 1000 MB, and like unless your hard drive crash and you loose all data, this should be more then enough. But maybe 2/3GB will keep everyone happy, this is just my opinion.
