nokia 3100 twister imei ????????? - GSM-Forum

Dear all,

I unlocked and flashed alot of nokia 3100's but 1 out of every 10 is giving me
imei ?????????????

So i have some (about 5 untill now ) with imei ??????????????

Is this a problem of twisterflasher or does every flasher has this problem ??
Does this happens because of flashing or by unlocking ??

Please Can someone help me ? I rather do not kill phones of customers

Ive seen problems like this as well ive always just taken it that the phone might have been tampered with by previous persons or that is was hardware failure.

First Full Flash the phone MCU+PPM and then Write PM. and thenn do full factory defult...

i killed another 3100 with this twister

So every 1out of 5 is killed after flashing

So i have buy pm file s to have the original imei into the phone

i can not imagine how you do that. I am total confused since it is impossible what you show there.

JUST WRITE(STEP BY STEP) HOW YOU FLASH YOUR PHONES ?(3100)

Dear all,

Steps i do for unlockung and flashing !

1. init Simlocks
2. full factory reset
(untill now imei is still there )
3. flash mcu + ppm + cnt
(most of the times 90% after writing cnt -> phone will not powered up -> so i have to flash ppm only after this procedure )

Now when i press info imei ??????????????? in a lot of cases

The solution of writing a Pm is maybe a solution but there is ni PM of the nokia 3100 in the support directory !

If someone has a solution ???
I still have to do alot of phones -> and i don't want to kill anymore phones

I can post all dead 3100 phones info if you want !

Yes Post screen shot so we can see what your setup looks like

anyway the first thing i would advise you to do is double check you cable and all connection really this can cause some problems

as for a pm file you can make your own click read pm ( dont tick read PM absolute value ) save the file and edit sec 5 ( remove it completly ) as this is imei data there are some posts on this in griffin forum by Odia so you can understand how to do this

Please post a screenshot here of your Twister setup and also a screenshot of the flash process, we need to find out what is happening here, because 3100 usually works 100%.

The phones are not totaly dead but imei ?????????????
Can not connect to the network

Any how i read out A pm from a working 3100 and i ereased the sec 5
But it is writing but it is giving after error at sometimes sec 38 line 48
sometimes At Sec 38 line 78 etc..... so no error at the same place .
So twister can not upload pm files ??????
Or nokia is making very very bad pones these days ???
All 3100 i have are brand new so ???
I am getting crazy .

I can not make a screenshot of where it is going wrong ,because it is don somewhere when phone is being flashed -> And if i read info then i can see if imei pm file is beeing corrupted

I think i going to get my neelix3 back or try with a friends prodigy flasher

If someone is having a solution i will try it -> so other people don t face the same problem like me

But thanks for the info untill now

I will try to read some infos of dead phone tonight an try to post it in the forum
