NTLDR is Missing! After using HWK UPDATER. BECAREFULL!! - GSM-Forum

My Gosh man! this is the second time I tried to do something with UFS that crashed my PC and it won't boot the PC to WinXP anymore, it says the error: "NTLDR is Missing" it happend rigth after I sucefully update my HWK to 1.04 then I restarted the PC and BOOM!!!!

Does anybody knows what is this?

This is old news. You can use search to learn how to prevent and bring back your system from saras bad move...

formatt ur pc
reinstall hwk
then repair ntldr with sbm tool
may be help

I saw lot a people having the same problem and tring to solve it, but I couldn't find HOW TO AVOID IT? Am I going to have this problem avery time I do an Update for it?

Formating my PC is out of cogitation. I would kill myself if I have to do this.

Just use another works PC as master, connect ur HD which missing NTLDR on it as slave, than copy NTLDR.sys and NTLDR.com from ur Xp cd to ur HD which missing NTLDR, than place the HD which NTLDR copied to ur computer again as master.now u can start ur coputer normally.you can get the NTLDR.sys and NTLDR.com in the i386 folder in the xp cd.goodluck!

Thank you for the advice my friend, actualy I already have my PC working now and I copy the file from booting the PC with a Windows CD isntallation. It works too.

with in last one month 3time my comp crash havig that same problem..now im fadeup of reinstalling win xp ..could u plz sent me that tool....till im scraed when i restart my computer after uninstalling some s/w..which was happen last few times...

Nothing is So Secret Avoiding Sys Crash.
All u have guys have to Backup 3 sys Files.

-NTDETCT.COM
-BOOT.INI
-NTLDR.
After patching Paste them on System Drive like C: etc
No System Crash will Occured Afterwards.
