So, Twister or ''HWK''? - GSM-Forum

So, as we have seen, the new

Hardware Key so called HWK in this subforum does not locate something new for us (atleast 80% in this forum), and it does not even support BB5 F-BUS flashing it just support for new SEMC phones and LG 3G and SHARP SH models (UMTS) and fast-flashing for Nokia with 0000001 feature.

So, the question is.
Since there is nothing new with this HWK for SEMC, LG3G, Sharp we need now something for BB5 if everybody agree and something good for Nokia phones (atleast the newer ones), and ofcourse this is for users who HAVE or bought some of markets SEMC tools.

Others may buy HWK, its on custom demand i assume.

Is there any request/demand from ANYBODY that Raskal shall give all twister users a concluded price for a kit of JAF instead of this ''HWK''?
Since JAF even can support a FEW models of IMEI patch for Nokia phones and BB-5 flashing.

We won't buy HWK till there is something new. Many of us have SEtool, Cruiser, so there is no reason to buy another solution for SE. But JAF with Sonics would be interesting. (I know it's another SE solution but there are BB5 flashing, IMEI patch, etc...) Thats my opinion...

why we must finace saras the next month holiday, a jaf for a good price as replacement is much more usefull

please can you say us how much do you think that jaf will cost for old twister users?and of course 1 jaf for 1 twister serial,right?

I guess we have to be careful what we say really (Its like walking on eggshells)in this forum,
the atmosphere in this forum could be cut with a knife.

I would be very interested in a cheap JAF but I would also like a HWK for my Twister.

I also hope Odia and Raskal and Saras can patch up their differances as this is not good for this forum and future support.

First of all i have to say that Odia is now threating my UK customers which want to buy HWK. I don't think this HWK is a very good concept, it is the right thing but with the wrong price at the wrong time, and here come el bosso odia and start advise to some UK reseller not to sell to some other UK resellers. What a mess?!

we have to say that there is new i dont think that only fast flashing is needed the other features are really 70% free

Hi Raskal
This is not good news but your problem with selling JAF to the UK & Europe is P&P this has always killed a good deal from China which to be fair is one of the reasons you set up a Dealer network and now this is biting you squarly on the A$$.
the other problem is we need a cheap & tidy solution to Sony phones ect which Twister fills nicely so I need HWK and will buy both at the best price available even if its from China rather than the UK.

yes i would not mind buying jaff at a discounted price, or i would not mind buying this hwk update as long as im promiced updated software for se,lg and sharp i dont want to buy it and find out new sephone has come out and this software is not updated this will fustrate me if you can promise me that this software will be updated like setool still lives on then i will purchase it.
