We need this flash files. I need EMEA2.
Lower versions aren't good solution becouse of hardware differences.
Please help us and upload these files to support area!

There is one in the download area, but only asian/latin.
If you can add one 7A with german language,it would be great

Hi

can anyone confirm if the part that gets erased when doing RSA removal is the same in all flashes (bit wise)?

If it is then we could just take this one R7A file and use it for flash recovery and then most problems would be solved...

The biggest problem right now is people that get T630 with R7A software inside, if the PA IC is new then it will not be supported by R6 software.

Only option right now if people get R7A T630 that are RSA protected (all of them are) is to downgrade to R6C software and this is risky business in the long run..

Alternatively if someone knowledgeable got both an ordinary R6 file and a twister R6 file and compared them maybe he/she could make a converter to convert ordinary SE files into Twister SE files..

I have done a few R7 phones but it is with a little bit of fright as i downgrade as i fear that some day i will have to buy a new phone for the *******r because i "screw up" the persons phone cause i cannot do upgrade to R7 ..

This matter i think is more important to fix that to release new twistersuite..

Oh great, you have downgraded A FEW and had no problems so we should not worry about the other peeps in here that have actually done the same and lost signal on the phone because SE have started using a new PA chip in their phones and the R6 software does not have the "driver" to support it ..

But hey, lets base this on your FEW phones and discard the mere possibility that someone else could have had problems....

If you had read the thread you would have found that this question is based on some people that DID have problems, how in the h*** can you conclude that there is no problem just because you have done a FEW ???

Anyone with a helpfull answer please dont hesitate to answer..

i_seeque,
Please don't talk if you don't know what are you talking about.

SET630 with R7A011 software can be with old hardware and new hardware.
Models with new hardware type don't work if you downgrade them (they don't
receive network in 900 MHz band). You'll know it when you come to it

@johny3310
OK i dont know.
Thing is i ve unlocked as many as 5-6 handsets. All were from T-mobile and were having R7 versions. All were unlocked using R6 rsa files and in other sense downgraded.
NONE of them has yet reported not working on 900MHZ.

IF u and other guys having such problems after using R6 files then it can be a ***** truth. I accept. What i ve tried here - JUST SHARED MY EXPERIENCE.

@twsterfan
i cant restrict your assumptions based on your own thinking. You must shout louder.

AND good news is FILES are on server.. so NO NEED to continue postings more.

MODERATORS plz lock the thread.

Vansy this problem can be repaired very easy with twister.

You just need right flash files.

Use SEARCH button. Find and download "special" R8C_EMEA5 flash that is 12MB size (uncompressed). Unchek "protect SA when flashing GDFS" option. Flash this R8C mcu and modem to phone and after that use "init SecBlk" with your OTP IMEI.

After that you can working phone, but EMEA5. You can download R7A flash files from
twister support and flash any language pack you want, phone will be OK.

No, you offered solution, but non-working solution that is killing phones.

I did over 200 pcs of T630 all R7A with old hardware type, and i did it with downgrading. Now i have over 50 pcs of T630, also R7A with new hardware type. Downgrading is not a solution for these phones.
