Tutorial how to update your Twister support dongle to USB smart or to Sam or to Moto

Here is again tutorial for all

1 - download the "Maintenance and Activation Tool for USB-SMART" from support area in: http://www.usb-smart.net/index.php?page=support

2 - unzip and extract the file "UsbsmartMaintenance_v10.exe"

3 - MAKE SURE NO OTHER DONGLE IS CONNECTED ON USB PORTS ON THE COMPUTER YOU USE TO MAKE UPDATE. OLSO TRY TO CONNECT THE DONGLE DIRECTLY IN COMPUTER USB PORT NOT THROUGH HUB'S

4 - conect the dongle you want to upgrade

5 - run "UsbsmartMaintenance_v10.exe"

6 - if all ok the program will start.

7 - Press the "Update Dongle Smartcard" button and PLEASE be patient untill it reaches 100%.

At this step is possible to get errors. Do not worry. Just disconect the dongle, close the program. Conect the dongle back and launch the tool again and press this button for update again. If error persists, please change the USB port you use.

8 - after all is successfull, you need to read the dongle by pressing the "Read Dongle Settings" button.

If all ok you will see something like this:
Dongle base type: USB-SMART (or twister support)
Dongle Serial Number: XXXXXXXXX
Smartcard UPDATED
SAMSUNG feature NOT ACTIVE
MOTOROLA feature NOT ACTIVE

9 - Now you choose what you want to update:

a-Twister Support to USB-SMART
b-Request Activation SAMSUNG feature
c-Request Activation MOTOROLA feature

For each activation you need to make an request file !!!
If you choose all 3 then you must pay for 3 activations.
If only 1 then only 1 activation.

10 - send the generated file(s) to your reseller to activate for you after making the payment. PLEASE NOT EDIT THOSE FILES !!!

11 - after you receive back the activation file(s) you conect the dongle again and launch the maintenance tool.

12 - Press "Read Dongle Settings" and then press "Process Activation file" button. If all is ok your dongle will be instantly activated for what you have made the request in first place.

ALL DONE

Two more things to stop the missunderstandings:

1 - UPGRADE USB SMART TO TWISTER SUPPORT IS NOT POSSIBLE AT THIS TIME

2 - If you have allreadi activated your dongle with any cyclone products, save that activation file since if you make again "Update Dongle Smartcard" you will need that activation.
