Member: 1666253 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Battery life and death The latter is because I live in Indonesia where pineapples and bananas are easy to get but mobile signals and internet are not. I splashed out on a wonderful Samsung galaxy pro with a nice easy to use qwerty KB and android 2.2.1 (I think). Wonderful bit of kit but the battery life is somewhere between rubbish and terrible. I charged it as usual last night, turned flight mode off at 5am and heard the 'low battery' alarm at 3pm. The phone died about 30 minutes later as I was no where near anywhere I could charge it. That's pretty much average for a day at work. I suspect the thing is polling all the time because of lousy signal strength at work but I'm unsure. perhaps a change of service provider?????? As I say, lovely bit of kit but I'll have to dump it if I can't solve this one. HELP !!!! |
