Changed X820 PCB now Keypad only switches on - GSM-Forum

Can someone help me, I changed the PCB on my X820 because the LCD was damaged. I connected the keypad ribbon and the phone switches on but does not respond to key presses on numbers.

Someone told me I have to flash the phone to get it to work with old keypad, is this true?

This phone has never been water damaged.... and advice?

Keep down, no need to flash ur phone. Dissassemble it again and check that wolume sw. and etc are correctly in place and not pushed down. If everything worked before it cant be big problem, just one key is pressed dow and that`s the situation u got.
