connected battery HUGE drop - GSM-Forum

Initial symptom was phone switched on, appeared to produce welcome sound but no visible screen. A repair attempt according to service manual produced my mistake with battery disconnected a couple of times due to open case and lousy connection. Now a battery voltage drop on terminals from 4.1 volts measured on battery to around 0.4 volts when connected. Does not switch on anymore.
