D500 buttons problem


Hi



I have a D500 with some buttons not working, its the menu, the green call button and the clear button that is not working, ive changed the flex cable twice with a new key mat and still no joy

any ideashow to fix guys

open the phone and short the memory cell for two hour,s during short memory cell don,t conect the battrey with mobile 100% tested by me with many time

This fault is mainly a flex fault..try doing it well, i faced the same many many
times.

hi
u will find a series of varistors on the keypad side on the right of the lcd connector.try 2 resolder them.if not work replace them.

ok guys this is really starting to F**k me off

i have replaced the the hole kepad pcb with a new one, but still the buttons do not work on the left handside. so this problem must be on the main bart off the pcb! does anyone how ideas what this could be?

1st try to remove keypad membrane, refit board and see if keys are working when you short the buttons (same as powering sagem). Because sometimes buttons stick in and cause this problem.

Also make sure you do not over-tighten the screws at back of front pcb because this can cause same problem!
If no luck still, I think it is processor problem......

Cheers for looking mate but i have had new upper keypad on it from another fone and iti s still the same!

Aslo checked the screws and still no joy, im at loss with it now.

Do you think it's worth re-heating the processor mate!
