d500 fault

ok after 3 ribbon cables fitted the same problem exists, when turned on and being used the backlight to the screen is off , you can see everything on the screen as it should be but very faint as the main light has not come on?
also on my other d500 evrything works except after pushing the menu button the screen and pixels change to just coulors no images just blocks then when you leave that part :ie the first menu everything gos back to normal as if it cant show the menu picture? any ideas?? please a si have bnow two phones that dont work properly

have you soldered the 2 connections properly on to the board the joints have to be perfect or the lcds dont work other option is you have a faulty screen from new had this prob many times

must be fault either on lcd itself or on the front board then
