d500 flex cable clip

dear sirs, many of us have changed the flex cables on samsung d500 e800 etc with no problems..most of the time but in very rare cases the the black clip used to hold the flex in place breaks or becomes disjointed due to accsessive force be used.does anyone have solution to fix this problem apart from changing the complete holder soldered to the board.
thanking u all.

there is no need to replace the whole holder. just replace the black clip. today I repalced the black clip on d410 using a clip from E800. the clip can be fitted on to the original holder quite easily. my guess is that d500 properly use same size clip. clip can be bought around £3 to £5.

hope this helps.

How do you remove the black clip on the Samsung D410 to be placed into E800? I don't want to break this clip as well; any instructions, links or pictures would be helpful.

Thanks

1st of all, does D410 clip base still wanted. if not, you can break the sides of the base. then just slide the clip out. if this is your 1st time. memerise the clip ways before remove.
if you still want D410 clip base intact. then you have to be very gentle when remove the clip. start with 1 end and work towords the other. use a microscope if you have 1.
to fit on to e800. start with 1 end then the whole clip should just slot in easily. do not use any pressure.
in both events the clip must be in fully opened position.
hope this helped.
BTW
E800 and D410 clip don't fit D500. their are too small.

Which position does the black need to be in closed vertical or open horizontal?

Thanks

open position means when you open black clip to remove flex.
