D500 , keypad problem


Hello !
i have a samsung d500 and the buttons 2 5 8 0 dont work but the rest all work fine. solutions ? please...

oO the top keypad IT`S WORKING. The bottom it`s not (2,5,8,0)... so it`s a hardware problem :|
any ideas ?

the board it`s ok, no water damage. i think the problem come`s from processor :|

Cool i see some pb.

i seen one D500 key not work, this phone have water dammage but some body clean all but not work but i seen pb. by clean socket between board and flex cable[it very dirty] after it all work....have fun

i have had similar problem and had it fixed they told me it was the keypad ic that was at fault this was after water damage it is also good to replace the ribbon cable after water damage this was not that expensive to get done

what flex cable....how can it be flex cable when the keypad is on the main board,not the lcd board????amazing

i have same problem same keys are not working << how the **** can it be flex cable you numptys <<< its defo hardware problem any soultions or where to locate the keypad control ic <<< !!!

have same problem with d500 water domaged.
After cleaned, rehot and reflash, the phone start but have keypad problem on 2-5-8-0-6.
any idea?!

if your FPC (flex cable) or the connector of it has a short-circuit, you can encounter problems like this, or phone restarting, blinking, etc.
not only "Camera preview error" and the like

Hi, anyone knows which varistos has to be removed for the keypad buttons to work. Only the power button works. MODEL D500
